Zoe LeJoy Campbell

6th Grade Math Teacher

Born in New York City and raised in the Lower East Side, Zoe-LeJoy Campbell, better known as Ms. Zoe, joined the NYC Teaching Fellows at Hunter College’s Relay Graduate School of Education. After graduating from Bard High School Early College with an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Business Administration at SUNY Old Westbury.

While at Old Westbury, Ms. Zoe became a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Eta Kappa Chapter, serving first as Treasurer and then as President. She also progressed from an intern at the Center for Student Leadership and Involvement (CSLI) to Vice President of Business & Finance for the Student Government Association (SGA). Her dedication to the Old Westbury community was recognized with her induction into the National Residence Hall Honorary, Excelsior Chapter, and her listing as one of the Fifty Most Influential Student Leaders of the Last Decade.

Ms. Zoe is passionate about learning and finds joy in gaining knowledge from others. She believes that 'Hard Work + Good Strategies + Help from Others = Powerful Learning.' To each student she encounters at Lyons, Ms. Zoe wholeheartedly says, 'I, too, will be learning from you. So, let’s continue to be GREAT together!'
