Zoe LeJoy Campbell

6th Grade Math Teacher

Born in New York City and raised in the LES,  Zoe-LeJoy Campbell, better known as Ms. Zoe joined the NYC Teaching Fellows at Hunter College's Relay, Graduate School of Education. After graduating from Bard High School Early College with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, she entered SUNY Old Westbury University to pursue a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business Administration. While at Old Westbury, Ms. Zoe became a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Eta Kappa Chapter where she served as the Treasurer and then President. She also moved from an Intern at the Center of Student Leadership and Involvement (CSLI) to the Vice President of Business & Finance for the Student Government Association (SGA).

Her commitment to the Old Westbury community was acknowledged when she was inducted into the National Residence Hall Honorary, Excelsior Chapter, and listed as One of Fifty Most Influential Student Leaders of the Last Decade.

Ms. Zoe is passionate about learning and has fun while doing so. She finds joy in learning from others. She believes that "Hard Work + Good Strategies + Help from Others = Powerful Learning"! So, to each of the students that she'll encounter at Lyons, Ms. Zoe devotedly states, "I too will be learning from you. So, let's continue to be GREAT together!"
