Sherene Noble

Sherene Noble was born and raised in Linden, Guyana. She was trained as a teacher at the Cyril Potter College of Education in Guyana. She also possesses an Executive Diploma in Management from the University of the West Indies, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cultural Studies from SUNY Empire State College and a Master of Arts Degree in English Adolescent Education from CUNY Brooklyn College.

Teaching has been her passion for the past sixteen years. She has worked with underprivileged students in Guyana and has transferred the skills and knowledge gained during her experiences there to teaching preschool here in NYC. Her goal is to serve as an inspiration to students through her enthusiasm, energy, commitment, interest, dedication, high expectations of them, and by being a mentor and good role model.

Sherene spends much of her spare time writing and has published a collection of short stories titled, Intertwined. She writes occasionally for the Guyana Cultural Magazine of New York. Sherene lives in Brooklyn, New York with her adult daughter and son.
