Speech

Lola is a 3rd generation educator born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.

She is a New York State licensed and American Speech and Language Association (ASHA) Certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Lola received a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and a Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University.

Upon entering the NYCDOE in 2012-2013 school year, Lola noticed that many of her students lacked basic literacy skills and returned to earn her Masters of Literacy Teaching from Alfred University 2014. Lola enjoys reading and shares her love for reading with her students.

Lola joined the Lyons community in fall 2019 and is excited and eager to collaborate with her fellow educators to better serve students so that they may access the curriculum.
