10th grade Social Studies

Jeffrey was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, the youngest child of six siblings and the only child born in the United States. Jeffrey moved to the Dominican Republic before prior to starting the 5th grade. During his time abroad, he competed internationally playing basketball in Cuba and Puerto Rico. After moving back to the Garden State to finish high school, he began a career in the United States Air Force. During his six and a half years in service, he lived in Aviano, Italy, San Antonio, Texas, and Great Falls, Montana. Jeffrey earned his A.S degree in Social Sciences and Humanities from Laguardia Community College and a B.Sc.Ed at St. John’s University. Jeffrey also spent three years substituting in public school throughout Brooklyn and Queens. He also taught Leadership classes for the New York Edge afterschool program. Jeffrey has also coached middle school students in after school sports like volleyball and basketball. He loves to travel and often goes abroad for summer vacations. Jeffrey is a basketball fanatic and has been a Nets fan since the late ’90s.
