School will not be open until April 20th. Instead you will be doing work online and at home. Please make sure to check your school email for information from your teachers about learning you should be doing. Reach out if you have questions, lyons@lyonscommunityschool.org

You can go to the school building to get "Grab and Go" breakfast or lunch from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm Mondays through Fridays.

Central DOE iPads Distribution - at this link ASAP (First Come, First Serve). These new iPads with T-Mobile Service (50k devices handed out per week) are basically first come, first serve for all those who qualify. You'll need your OSIS number, which can be found on PupilPath.

NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA)

Can provide cash assistance and emergency grants for people hardest hit by COVID-19. Apply online (www.nyc.gov/accesshra).

HRA is currently updating application requirements to cut down the need for in-person meetings. Once the application is submitted online people will receive updated instructions.

Financial Support for Rental Arrears through HRA

If this crisis causes you to get behind on rent or you were behind on previously, you can apply for emergency cash assistance.

Please note – this was a pre-existing program and due to the extraordinary circumstances of the current crisis there may be updates in the coming weeks.
