Program Director (Co-Director)

A native New Yorker, Jody has been working in education for eighteen years, the past eleven of which have been teaching and coaching teachers in small public schools in New York City.

As Program Director, Jody loves teaching Field Studies – this course is devoted to using the cultural resources of New York City as a way to understand the world. She loves exploring our city with Lyons students and working with Lyons’ partners Brooklyn Historical Society and Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation and Lyons teachers to develop the unique Field Studies curriculum.
