Middle School English Language Arts

Frank Greco was born and raised in Astoria, Queens. He has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Albany and a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. After working as a statistical analyst for a year, he decided to go back to school to get certified as an English Teacher. Frank has been teaching High School English for 11 years and has taught mostly freshmen and sophomore students. He uses literacy strategies as the foundation of his teaching and sets a goal for his students to become active readers, high order thinkers, and authors of their own story.

Frank is also extremely passionate about all aspects of technology and integrating it into his teaching style and classroom environment. He has created numerous paperless Cyber ELA classes in the past and is always looking to create environments that will prepare his students for the present and future.

Frank is new to both Lyons Community and the middle school scene and is excited about the new changes! He is always looking to share a smile and a laugh with others and focuses on positivity to empower himself and his students.
