Kasi followed her calling to teach after wrapping up careers in both journalism and fashion merchandising.  She received her A.B. degree in English from Princeton University, and a master’s degree in newspaper journalism from Syracuse University.  She started teaching three years ago as a New York City Teaching Fellow at the Brooklyn campus of Long Island University.  Kasi co-teaches 10^th grade English and Living Environment and an assortment of elective classes.  She is thrilled to have launched her teaching career at Lyons and is looking forward to working with her students and exposing to the world and city around them.
