Dan Morgenroth grew up attending New York City public schools. Over the last 12 years, he has taught a variety of subjects to kids and adults of all ages, including math, literature, history, Spanish, Portuguese, ESL, film, bicycle repair and carpentry. He has a BA in International Relations from Brown University and a Master's Degree in Math Leadership from Bank Street College, and has taught middle school and high school math in New York City for the last six years. In his free time, Dan enjoys biking, playing soccer, traveling with family and friends, strumming an occasional song on guitar, and reading a good book.

At Lyons, Dan teaches sixth grade math and co-directs the Urban Workshop program, working with students on community-based construction projects around New York City. He is very excited about working with Lyons students both inside and outside the classroom.
